If you like to surround yourself with scented candles, coloured pebbles or seashells, do so. Scented candles are available in a variety of colours and fragrances, and having them around your home will do the job of an air-freshener. If it's glasses and tumblers that get you excited, show them off. You could place them on a wooden stand with a glass door or low table.
Splurge with colour
From upholstery to your walls, the possibilities are endless. Be careful not to go over the top though. Stick with two to three shades and remember that less is more. Also play around with your upholstery. With trends leaning towards colour, you can adopt a different colour scheme for every season. This can be achieved by purchasing fabrics at discounted rates from a wholesale market in your city or town.
