What: The Central Board of Secondary Education invites applications for the CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Professional Studies and Undergraduate Studies.

Scholarship details

For Professional Studies (Medical & Engineering)

~ The objective is to provide scholarships for professional education like medicine and engineering in institutes participating in the CBSE conducted All India Pre Medical/ All India Engineering Entrance Examinations, or Central government controlled/ aided institutions.

~ Total number of scholarships: 500

~ Value: Rs 1,000 per month

~ Duration: Four years

Are your eligible?

~ You will be considered if you are on the merit list of the AIPMT and AIEEE examinations conducted by the CBSE board.

For Undergraduate Studies

~ The objective is to provide scholarships to meritorious students who have passed the CBSE Class XII examination for pursuing undergraduate level studies in a central/ state university or any university recognised by the UGC.

~ Total number of scholarships: 550

~ Value: Rs 500 per month

~ Duration: Three years

Are you eligible?

~ You will be considered if you are on the merit list of the Class XII examination conducted by the CBSE.
