i. Share with us the exact scope of your current work profile and all the functions you perform. Describe your routine work as well as the expected value-addition and scope for growth.

ii. Be prepared for questions on inter-personal relationships with colleagues, clients, etc.

For instance, they could ask you about your working relationships with your co-workers.

Update yourself on the background, education and experiences of those you interact with.

iii. What are your limitations? Do you think there is scope for improvement?

iv. How aware are you of the organisation's changing dynamics? If you keep yourself abreast of the latest developments, you won't have trouble answering this.

v. Tell us about the current market scenario in India.

While answering this, keep your job profile in mind. For instance, if you are in marketing or finance, then Budget 2005 would have an impact.

vi. How aware are you of the international political and economical situation? The business of your company might depend on the world economy, so brush up your knowledge on relevant subjects.

vii. Your own views, focus and concept about your work will also be in focus, so make sure you put forth your vision, opinions and suggestions. Write them down if you tend to forget.
