What: The International Institute of Fine Arts and the University of London have signed an MoU.

Details: The two have signed the MoU for teaching, developing and promoting fine arts in India and the United Kingdom.

What's in it for you? The collaboration between the two institutions entails students' exchange and placement programmes, exchange of academic staff, organising exhibitions, master classes, short courses, seminars, joint research activities and exchange of publications.

IIFA president Satish Modi said, "Developing a partnership with the University of Arts, London will help IIFA fulfill its mission to promote art and culture and provide an excellent education in fine arts, including performing arts, film and television in conformity with global standards."

Michael Bichard of University of London said, "The MoU would help us understand great Indian art and tradition in a bigger way."
