What: Indian Airlines has launched the IA Family Ticket Scheme.
This scheme is valid till January 31, 2005.
How it helps
~Under the scheme, two children below the age of 12 can travel free with two full-fare paying adult passengers.
~Upto two children between 12 and 18 years of age can avail a 50 percent discount on normal published fare, while accompanying two full-fare paying adults.
~In case one child is below 12 years and the other between 12 and 18 years, the former can travel free while the latter gets a 50 percent discount.
Please note
~The scheme is applicable on a one-way or round trip travel on domestic sectors in the economy class only.
~The scheme is not applicable on sectors operated by ATR42 and Dornier aircraft.
~A maximum of two economy class tickets will be issued free/discounted for children accompanying adults travelling on full published fare.
~Applicable government taxes will be payable on the free tickets.
