Talk about a makeover.
Actress Neetu Chandra, last seen bouncing around as one of Akshay Kumar's [Images] bimbettes in Garam Masala, has been completely transformed for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's new film, Traffic Signal [Images].
The film is about the underbelly of Mumbai city, as seen from a busy traffic intersection. The director is trying to point out the cross-section of varied life that goes on there, from the begging industry to the eunuchs, from the streetwalkers to the vendors selling pirated novels.
The film also starts Kunal Khemu [Images], Ranvir Sheorey, Konkona Sensharma, and director Sudhir Mishra.
Traffic Signal is scheduled to hit theatres in February 2007.
