Siddharth

Twenty-four-year old Siddharth became the darling of college girls after he acted as Munna, the cute, innocent hero of Boys.

He never wanted to be an actor, though he always dreamed of being in films. He wanted to be a writer and director.

After doing his MBA from Mumbai's S P Jain Institute of Management, he moved to Chennai. He met Mani Ratnam and got his first film job as assistant director in Kannathil Muthamittal.

He was then roped into Shankar's Boys by writer Sujatha and his wife, not as assistant but as hero.

Having acted on stage in Delhi where he schooled, acting in a film was not difficult for Siddharth.

He will also appear in Ratnam's new film, Aayitha Ezhuthu.
