To create a truly slick and international look in his film, Rakesh Roshan enlisted the services of special effects experts from Australia and the US.

Visual effects directors Marc Kolbe and Craig Mumma of Digital Art Media (a division of Compudyne Winfosystems), who have worked in films like Godzilla and Independence Day, were roped in. James Colmer and Lara Denman of Bimmini Special Fx and Design Studios, Australia, have designed the spaceship and created the alien.
