The king's back slows him down

Ten years in the industry, and Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan finally decided to take things easy. A large part of the decision could have to do with the surgery on his spine that he underwent in February.

Close friend filmmaker Karan Johar said Khan hurt his back when performing stunts three years ago. The superstar said he injured himself while performing a dance sequence in Shakti: The Power last year.

The operation at London's Wellington Hospital was a success.

Doctors have warned Shah Rukh that post-operative care is extremely important, one good reason to go a bit slow now. The king says he will only do three movies a year.
