The versatile Paresh Rawal aims to hit the bull's eye as the comic relief in Aankhen. He is a street-smart beggar who wants to get rich quick.

For authenticity, director Vipul Shah shot one of the sequences on a local train at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi station. Rawal and costar Amitabh Bachchan, on whom the scene was picturised, were impervious to all the excitement their presence created at the bustling station.
