Mani Ratnam's Dil Se may have bombed at the box-office, but its Rahman-composed music -- and, in particular, the song Chaiya Chaiya -- became a huge success.
The original song was filmed on a moving train on Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and MTV veejay Malaika Arora. The recreated version in Bombay Dreams has been performed on a moving platform and has come in for much acclaim. Chaiya Chaiya in Bombay Dreams is one of the highlights of the play. |
