Ajay Devgan gears up for June 7

Ajay Devgan At a press conference held at Mumbai's J W Mariott, brother of late Bhagat Singh, Kultar, said that he was happy with the way Ajay Devgan portrayed the martyr in Rajkumar Santoshi's The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.

Kultar Singh said that Santoshi had done a huge favour on him by making this film. Santoshi replied, "This is not a favour, but a small contribution towards Bhagat Singh, who was not done justice to."

Santoshi added that he was very happy that four films were coming up on the martyr. He saw no competition but felt proud that the 'legend' will finally be known to every single citizen through all the films and that would be a big achievement.

Among the cast, Ajay Devgan, Sushant Singh, Akhilendra Mishra, Amrita Rao, Farida Jalal and Mukesh Tiwari were present, along with singers Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik. Friends Vashu Bhagnani, Rajiv Rai and Anil Kapoor also attended the event.

Three films on Taj Mahal

Aishwarya Rai While one thought that the whole brouhaha was only about five films on the late Bhagat Singh, another historical that is creating news is Taj Mahal.

Three filmmakers are busy is producing their versions of the story revolving the great monument. Akbar Khan is directing Taj Mahal -- An Eternal Love Story starring Kabir Bedi, Kim Sharma, Pooja Batra, Manisha Koirala and Arbaaz Khan. Bharatbala Productions is making Taj Mahal starring Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan. Robin Khosla is directing Taj Mahal -- A Monument Of Love with Raghuraj and Purnima Patwardhan.

Naseer teams up with Connery

Naseeruddin Shah Naseeruddin Shah will star in a Hollywood film with Sean Connery.

Apparently, Gulshan Grover was first considered for Shah's role. Shah is essaying a negative role.
