Aamir was swept away to the press conference as soon as he arrived at the venue.

Speaking to reporters, Aamir said that Ashutosh Gowariker (the film's director) and he began toying with the idea of a comic book on the film during the pre-production stages of Lagaan.

"The subject of the film lends itself naturally to the story-line of a comic book. I must admit that it feels great to be a comic book hero."
