After her Hindi film debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa (2000) and a pivotal role in the Suneil Shetty-Arjun Rampal-Aftab Shivdasani starrer Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, this southern belle is hoping to gain a footing in the Hindi film industry.

A star in her own right in the Telugu film industry, Kirti has also signed another film opposite Karan Nath (son of Madhuri Dixit's secretary Rikku Rakeshnath, and who debuted in Paagalpan) to be directed by Kuku Kohli.
