Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ode to the ideal of Kashmiriyat -- at least, as he interprets it -- had Hrithik Roshan. Which, given that at that time, the hunk ranked numbers one through ten in the hot list, made it a multi-starrer all by itself.

Vidhu also roped in Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Preity Zinta. And -- to give the director due credit -- every one of the stars performed, to par and beyond.
