Crouching... is Best Foreign Language FilmIn a feathery costume reminiscent of a swan, which she said was made by her friend, singer-songwriter Bjork made her first musical appearance on an Oscar night. The singer who made her on screen debut in the year 2000, in Dancer In The Dark sang I've seen it all in her trademark broodingly intimate and lingering voice. John Travolta then drew attention to the film industry's greats of the past. Not surprisingly, the Taiwanese film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon won the Best Foreign Language Film. It is the highest grossing foreign language film in the United States. Director Ang Lee in his acceptance speech thanked the people of Hong Kong, Taiwan and China for this "great honour". With this award, the film's haul stands at four Oscars.
