Plot: When Champaner is besieged by drought, crops are destroyed, as a result of which the poor farmers (Aamir Khan and co) are unable to pay tax. One particularly mean Brit officer (Paul Blackthorne), challenges them to a game of cricket, promising them relief from taxes. And that's what the film is all about.
