In a keen contest Rajiv Pratap Rudy is going all out to woo Chhapra, making it a point to target the youth.
In 1991, he was the youngest MLA in the Bihar assembly at the age of 29 and is seen as one of India's promising young politicians.
"You are dynamite," he says, asking the crowd to come out and vote for him.
In view of the caste dynamics in the constituency, he will bank on the sizeable Rajput population but is also making an attempt to strike a chord with the city's intellectuals who he met with at a popular local venue.
Meanwhile, back on stage in the mohalla, he tells the crowd that of the four elections he has fought, he has won two and lost two.
"So it is my turn to win this time. And as fate would have it, even my name is positioned at the number one slot on the EVM. Maybe destiny has already decided it."
Desh ka neta kaisa ho, Rajiv bhaiya jaisa ho (The country's leader should be like Rajiv Rudy" the supporters's cries break the night sky once again.
