"I urge you to prevent division of votes and elect Deora who has served people of his constituency throughout his term," Khan said.

"Congress should be elected for stable government and continuous growth," Deora said.

As the popular actor arrived, a big crowd, mostly comprising his fans, thronged streets to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood star, resulting in traffic congestion at places.
