Dr Manmohan Singh is administered the oath of office and secrecy by President APJ Abdul Kalam at the Ashoka Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 22. Singh is the 13th prime minister of India.

Along with Singh, 67 ministers -- 28 of Cabinet rank, and 39 ministers of state, 10 of them with independent charge -- were also administered the oath of office and secrecy.
