AP: 24 ministers in YSR's team

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy on Saturday inducted 24 ministers into his team.
Governor Surjit Singh Barnala administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at an austere ceremony at the Raj Bhavan.
Prominent among those sworn-in were AP Congress Committee chief D Srinivas, former PCC president M Satyanarayana Rao, former deputy CM Koneru Ranga Rao and former MPs Satrucherla Vijayarama Rao, Botcha Satyanarayana and Konathala Ramakrishna.
K Rosaiah, Kanna Lakshminarayana, Dharmana Prasada Rao, J C Diwakar Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy, M Shabbir Ali, K Jana Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah and J Geeta Reddy, who had served in the previous Congress ministries, have been inducted again.
As many as 13 out of the 24 ministers are making their debut in the government. They include Jakkampudi Ramamohan Rao, Gollapalli Surya Rao, Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao, Nedurumalli Rajyalakshmi (wife of former CM N Janardhana Reddy), M Mareppa, P Sabita Indra Reddy, Fariduddin, G Vinod and D S Redya Naik.
Reddy was sworn in as chief minister at an impressive ceremony at the Lal Bahadur Stadium on May 14.
Speaking to newsmen, party chief Srinivas said: "The formation of a full-fledged cabinet is a very good beginning for the state. It is a very good cabinet with fair and adequate representation to weaker sections."
