The Winner
Here the politician projects himself as a potential prime minister/chief minister/minister, and expects voters to plump for him so that they can be the constituency of the leader of the state/country.

If he campaigns door-to-door, then town criers walk ahead of him, announcing his impending arrival, and urging people to walk out onto the streets for a privileged glimpse of the great man himself as he walks through their streets or addresses them from a street corner.

Slogans are raised, directly naming the politician as a chief minister or prime minister, and voters are urged to make themselves part of the winning team.

It is implied that they will be well rewarded in the future for their support. All chief ministerial and prime ministerial candidates use this approach.

One doesn't need to look beyond Lucknow to witness this approach.
