Political affairs panel of PDP meets

Ahead of his second round of talks with Congress leader Manmohan Singh, People's Democratic Party chief Mufti Mohammed Sayeed chaired a meeting of his party's Political Affairs Committee in Srinagar on Monday.

In the meeting, attended by vice-presidents Mehbooba Mufti, Muzzafar Hussain Beig, Ghulam Hassan Mir and B K Vashnavi, a decision pertaining to the PDP's stand on an alliance government in Jammu and Kashmir will be taken, sources said.
