# With two wickets, RP Singh has taken his tally to 27 at 21.40 runs apiece in 20 IPL games, obliterating Shane Warne's tally of 26 (ave.21.88) in 21 matches.

# Abhishek Raut's unbeaten 36 off 23 balls is his best score in the IPL, bettering the 21 not out off 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders at Cape Town on April 23,2009.

# In the course of his 24 off 14 balls, Yusuf Pathan has completed 600 runs -- 604 at 31.78 in 22 IPL matches.

# Yusuf is the fourth batsman to amass 600 runs in the IPL, joining Gilchrist (646), Raina (621) and Shaun Marsh (616).

# With two sixes against Deccan, Yusuf equalled Sanath Jayasuriya's record of 35 sixes in the IPL.

# Rajasthan Royals registered their third win in the 2009 edition in seven games. The win is also their third against Deccan Chargers in the IPL.

# Deccan Chargers' loss is their 14th in the IPL, emulating Bangalore's tally in the IPL. Deccan Chargers, with a NRR of +0.727 and eight points are on the top of the table.

# Gilchrist's run-aggregate of 210 (ave.35.00) in the 2009 edition is exceeded only by Matthew Hayden -- 216 (ave.43.20) in five games.

# Swapnil Asnodkar and Graeme Smith have provided the second instance in the IPL when both the opening batsmen have failed to score in the same innings. Parthiv Patel and Stephen Fleming had recorded the first instance for Chennai against Rajasthan at Jaipur last year.
