Harbhajan gave India a glimmer of hope when he first dismissed the dangerous Vaas and then had the Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene leg before for just two runs.
But Harbhajan's second wicket (Jayawardene) came only after the batsman unsuccessfully appealed for a review.
