V V S Laxman timed the ball beautifully and hit some exquisite straight drives off the marauding rival pacers. However, he perished to his own folly of chasing a wide ball from the tall Morkel (in picture) without moving his feet when trying to drive and was caught behind off a very thin edge.
Morkel claimed two for 87 in the second innings.
