India vs SA, 2nd Test, Day 3
April 5, 2008
India opener Wasim Jaffer survives a loud appeal from Dale Steyn during Day 3 of the second Test against South Africa at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium on Saturday.
Jaffer lived dangerously, playing and missing a few times and once nearly fending a short ball dug in by the lanky Morne
Morkel to the close-in fielders' hands. Just when he appeared to have settled down, he needlessly tried to drive a delivery away from his body and was caught in the slips.
South Africa won the Test by an innings and 90 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The first Test in Chennai was drawn.
