Ed Giddins
The Sussex all-rounder was banned from professional cricket for 20 months for use of cocaine in 1996.
Giddins contented that he had ingested the drug inadvertently, but his claim was rejected by the disciplinary committee, which found that he had taken it deliberately.
Gibbins was subsequently sacked by his club, Sussex. Ironically, he went on to enjoy a successful stint at Warwickshire, and played in four Tests from 1999-2000.
