The cricket skills development camp, which was slated to begin in Bangalore on Sunday, for Sri-Lanka bound players, has been postponed by a day.
The Indian squad was scheduled to assemble in on Saturday but the Board of Control for Cricket in India said the players would arrive by Sunday evening and the camp would commence a day late. No reasons were given for the postponement.
India Coach Greg Chappell [Images] has returned from holiday and will join the players at the camp.
The team will undergo training in match-like situations at the camp, to be held in two sessions daily before departing for Colombo on the evening of August 10.
The triangular series in Sri Lanka [Images], involving South Africa as the third team, will be played from August 14 to 29.
The team had earlier trained in the Pegasus Institute of Excellence and an Army camp where they underwent military drills, rock climbing, and Tai Chi sessions.
