Team grieves over Miller's death

The Australian cricket team expressed grief over the death of former all rounder Keith Miller and said the all-rounder would be remembered as one of the all time greats in the game.

"Like sir Don Bradman, Kieth Miller will be remembered as one of the greats. I would have loved the opportunity to watch him play. The day I met him will remain for ever as a career highlight," was the condolence message from captain Adam Gilchrist on behalf of the team."He will be sadly missed. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and thousands of people who were inspired by his swashbuckling approach to the game," the message, read out by Media manager Jonathan Rose, said.
The players also decided to wear black bands as a mark of respect to Miller, for the entire duration of the second Test match, which starts in Chennai on Thursday.
Miller, rated one of cricket's greatest and most entertaining all-rounders, died on October 11 at a nursing home onthe Mornington Peninsula south of Melbourne.
