Dravid ended his run of poor scores and reached his 18th Test century after the tea interval.
The century was his first this season in eight Tests.
He became the first batsman ever to score centuries in all ten Test playing countries.
Dravid also became only the fourth player to score centuries against all nine Test countries, emulating Australia's Steve Waugh, South African Gary Kirsten and teammate Sachin Tendulkar.
