For Winning the Prudential Cup in 1983, the Indians received:
- £ 2,500 from Swraj Paul, an Indian industrialist in London.
- Rs. 1,25,000 from the chief minister of Maharashtra.
- Rs. 1,00,000 from the Mayor of Ahmedabad.
- Rs. 3,50,000 from the Indian Board.
- Rs. 20,00,000 by way of proceeds from a cultural show in New Delhi.
- £ 20,000 as prize money and £ 600 to Man of the Match, Mohinder Amarnath.
- Rs. 50,000 by way of a donation from Charanjit Singh, M.P.
- Flats from the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association to the Delhi players in the team.
- Free bags of rice for a year from a North Indian businessman.
- Complimentary tickets from Air India for players' wives and children for the return flight from London to Bombay.
- Free supply of beer for a year from a brewery, which later introduced a new brand to commemmorate the Trophy.
- The replica of the pickaxe used by mountaineers Ahluwalia and Kohli on their Everest climb on 1965.
