Court restrains Lele from attending BCCI AGM

A district court on Friday restrained Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary Jaywant Lele from attending Saturday's crucial Annual General Meeting of BCCI in Madras, which will elect a new president and other office-bearers.

Staying an earlier order by a trial court on September 25 allowing Lele to attend the meeting, the court, hearing an appeal by Baroda Cricket Association President Chirayu Amin and former India stumper Kiran More, directed Amin to attend the Madras meeting and cast the vote on behalf of the unit.

Lele, who is in Madras, said he was unaware of the court ruling.
