Steve enjoyed some good fortune, first edging Gough over the top of the slips. He then presented the Yorkshire paceman with a difficult diving return catch that Gough could not grasp. He was finally dismissed for 45 caught off the glove by Alec Stewart from the bowling of Dominic Cork.
