From the cafe of award-winning chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt, this truffle sells for $250 a piece, which converts to the price of $2,600 per pound. The product has a seven-day shelf life and is made-to-order.

Also called as La Madeline au Truffe, it has 70 per cent Valrhona dark chocolate, heavy cream, sugar, truffle oil and vanilla as the base.

Call it a marketing gimmick by Cadbury, the company made this bar as a campaign to re-launch its Wispa Gold chocolates in the UK, which was discontinued for six years.
