Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a 72.6kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery with battery heating system. It has a claimed ARAI range of 631 km/per charge. The battery from 10 per cent to 80 per cent using a 150kW charger can be charged in just 21 minutes, and it can be charged in 18 minutes, with a 350kW DC charger. Mahindra XEV 9e

Mahindra XEV 9e comes with two battery options: a 59kWh and a 79kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery pack. The XEV 9e with the 79kWh battery is paired with a 286hp, 380 Nm motor that drives the rear wheels. The smaller 59kWh battery has a 231hp motor. The batteries can sustain a charging speed of 175kW, using a DC charger. The Kia EV6 has a 77.4KWh lithium-ion battery, combined with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that makes an impressive output with 225.8 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque from the rear motor, while the front and rear motor combined makes 320.5 bhp and 605 Nm of peak torque. The electric system is super robust, so it can deliver a certified range of 708 km on a single charge. The battery can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 18 minutes with a 350kW charger. BMW i4

The BMW has a 83.9kWh lithium-ion battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that makes 335 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. It can go up to 590 km on a single charge. The battery charges from 10 per cent to 80 per cent using a DC charger in 32 minutes. It also supports AC charging. Starting price: Rs 72.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).

BYD Atto 3

BYD Atto 3 has 2 battery options: a 49.92kWh battery in Dynamic trim and a 60.48kWh battery in the premium and superior trims. The 49.92kWh battery offers a range of 468 km, while premium trims have a certified range of 521 km. It is paired with a rear-mounted electric motor that generates 201 bhp and 310 Nm of peak torque.
