Adman turned actor, Rahul Bose is set to make his debut as a director of an English film, also written by him, called Everybody says I'm fine.
Since his debut in Dev Benegal's English August, he has tried to balance films and theatre. While his work in films has been limited to, among others, Bombay Boys, Split Wide Open and Thakshak, he has been more active in theatre, directing as well as acting. But he finally decided to pen his own script and make a film that appeals to him. In Everybody says I'm fine, he has signed on Zakir Hussain to compose the music, which will be released internationally. He has also been signed on the roster of William Morris Agency as actor, writer and director. rediff.com spoke to Rahul Bose about his film, his craft and future plans.
