Six queens and one king are making their own rules and celebrating the freedom to be their most fabulous selves on Vogue India's cover.

Meet Rani Kohenur, one of India's leading drag queens, who features on the cover of Vogue India's latest edition.

Unveiling the cover, the mag wrote: 'Welcome to the big, beautiful, rainbow-tinted world of drag, where six queens and one king are making their own rules and celebrating the freedom to be their most fabulous selves.'

Rani aka Sushant Divgikr who seemed very excited the be on the cover, added: 'Dream come true. Ticking off stuff from my bucket list. Vogue it is!'

'It has been my childhood dream and people who know me know that I had to work so hard to get here but oh well, it wouldn't have felt even half as good if I had it easy!

'I can't contain my excitement and can't even begin to tell all of you how much of RANI there is that I can't wait to show to the world.

'Thank you for everything and thank you for always believing In YOUR queen! As I always maintain, I am and will always be the queen of YOUR hearts.'
