Overnight rain delays start of Australia match

Overnight rain delayed the start of the World Cup Super Eights match between Australia and Bangladesh at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium on Saturday.

Play was expected to start at 2.00 pm local time (2330 IST) after wet ground conditions delayed the match.

Umpires Aleem Dar and Billy Bowden made another inspection at 1.30 pm (2245 IST).

The game is expected to start at 2330 IST. The game has been reduced to 22 overs a side, with power plays in the first nine overs. Only two bowlers will be allowed to bowl five overs.
