Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar won the toss and chose to bowl first against Bermuda, with rain delaying the start of their World Cup Group B match on Sunday.

Covers were brought on after a steady drizzle at the Queen's Park Oval.

Bangladesh need only to avoid defeat to reach the World Cup second round for the first time at the expense of 1983 winners India.

Bangladesh retained the same eleven which lost the previous game to Sri Lanka while Bermuda recalled seamer Saleem Mukuddem after a one-game suspension on disciplinary grounds in place of 17-year-old paceman Malachi Jones.

Sri Lanka have topped the group with two wins. Bangladesh, like India, have one victory each.
