Bermuda skipper Irving Romaine won the toss and asked India to bat first in their World Cup Group B clash in Trinidad on Monday.
India, desperate for a big win after their shock defeat to Bangladesh in the opening match of the four-team group on Saturday, made one change in the 11.
They included leg spinner Anil Kumble as the lone specialist slow bowler in place of Harbhajan Singh.
Sri Lanka thrashed debutants Bermuda by 243 runs in the opening group game on Thursday.
