Iraq crisis: Indian leadership at all-party meet

Tara Shankar Sahay in New Delhi | March 22, 2003 12:38 IST

Leaders of various parties are at a meeting convened by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Delhi to discuss the Iraq crisis.

The government has been circumspect in its stand on the issue of the US attacking Iraq without UN authorisation and overriding worldwide criticism against military action.

The opposition has not taken kindly to this kind of an attitude and wants the government to adopt a clear stand.
