US wants Osama at any cost, Bush tells Taleban

The President of the United States, George W Bush, in his address to the Senate and House on Thursday night, declared war on Al Qaida, the terrorist organisation, which is headed by Saudi renegade Osama bin Laden.

The president also told Taleban to hand over bin Laden and said there would be no negotiations or discussions over the issue.

Bush said the fight against terrorism concerned not only America, but the whole world.

"Either you are with us, or with the terrorists," he said, addressing nations around the world.

Addressing Muslims, Bush said America respected Islam and its teachings, but the terrorists were trying to impose their own brand of religion on others.
