New York woman dies of inhalation anthrax

The American people, already paranoid about bioterrorist attacks, had more reason to feel jittery on Wednesday, as media reports said that a New York hospital worker had died of inhalation anthrax.

The woman, 61-year-old Kathy Nguyen of Vietnamese origin, worked in a supply room at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and was the first to die of the disease in New York.
