PHOTOS: Gorgeous Jwala Gutta sizzles in item number with Nithin

Badminton ace Jwala Gutta has scorched the floor with an item number in the upcoming Telugu film Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (GJG).

The sexy star will up the glamour quotient in the film starring Nithin.

Nithin stars opposite Nithya Menon

GJG stars Nithya Menon and Isha Talwar as the female leads, with Vijay Kumar Konda helming the project.

It is the second time Nithya will pair with Nithin after the box office smash Ishq.

Jwala's song is the special attraction

Jwala Gutta's song is being showcased as the special attraction of this movie.

The number has been composed by Anoop Reubens, with Krishna Chaithanya penning the lyrics.

Nitin delivered a dozen flops before Ishq

Having started his career with three super-hits -- Jayam, Dil and Sye -- the last one directed by SS Rajamouli (of Eega fame), Nitin's stocks subsequently plummeted.

He delivered a dozen flops in succession, including Ram Gopal Varma's Agyaat (Hindi), in a barren period that lasted eight years.

Vikram Kumar's Ishq, which released last year, ended the drought.

Jwala's fans will have to wait for a month

With Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Courier Boy Kalyan (with Yami Gautam) up for release, this year is crucial for the young actor. No wonder he is playing it safe. 

Asking good friend Jwala to perform a song in the movie is a step in the direction. 

Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde releases on April 19. 

Jwala's fans have a month before they see her on screen.
