Serena Williams flaunts incredible curves on magazine's cover

Tennis ace Serena Williams has graced the cover of the Essence magazine's July 2013 'Body Issue' in a blue ombre swimsuit by Carmen Marc Valvo.

In the new issue, the 31-year-old star has talked about issues ranging from self-esteem and aging to maintaining her health and embracing her famous curves, the Huffington Post reported.

Williams, one of the 30s brigade in quarter-final action in French Open, proved she is fallible with a mid-match crisis against Svetlana Kuznetsova, but she underlined her rapacious appetite for Grand Slam silverware with a storming 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 finish.

"Definitely, I just got tired of losing in the quarters. It's enough," said Williams, who lost to Kuznetsova in 2009 when the Russian won the title. "I really, really, really, really wanted it more than anyone."

The old survival instincts kicked in and she surged away to a 29th consecutive victory.
