England's best known footballer David Beckham announced his retirement last month after a career laden with trophies and glamour that had a worldwide impact that went way beyond soccer.

The 38-year-old former England captain, who helped Paris St Germain to the French league title to add to titles won in England, Spain and the United States, hung up his boots at the end of a successful season.

But his glamorous wife wasted no time in suggesting a few venture for Beckham.

Victoria Beckham hinted that her footballer husband David could make movies.

The former Spice Girl looked glamorous as she arrived at the Glamour Awards with son Brooklyn and opened up about life after David's football retirement, the Mirror reported.

Speaking to Glamour magazine she joked that the footballer could become an actor, saying: "Sure, why not... I've been in Spice World and that was a great performance!"

Hubby David Beckham was not far in paying his wife back in the same coin when he discussed about the two beautiful girls in his life -- his wife and daughter.

He said that his wife Victoria, who he met at Manchester United match 16 years ago, looks just as stunning today as she was back then but insisted that he's not sure it is the same case with him, the Daily Express reported.

The football legend also said that he feared that he had missed his chance to date her.

The 38-year-old said that when he was playing with Manchester United and she came down with his manager, he was overcome with shyness and left after introducing himself.

David confessed that he was disappointed but got another chance, the next week, when she came back for another game and then he got her number.

The former footballer admitted that finding out that Victoria, 39, was pregnant with their first daughter in 2011, gave him the most perspective.

He said that to have a daughter is a whole different thing because his sons are independent and autonomous but the little girl always wants her daddy.
