World No 1 tennis star Rafael Nadal did some sight-seeing and, at the same time, looked for divine intervention before the start of the Rio Open.
Nadal and his team-mates, including his coach, the famous uncle Toni, visited one of the wonders of the world, the famous 'Christ the Redeemer' statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Saturday.
Nadal, who posted a picture of himself and his team standing under the statue, wrote in Spanish on Facebook, "Encantado a vista ao Cristo", which translates to 'Delighted to visit Christ'.
Nadal starts his Rio Open campaign against compatriot Daniel Gimeno-Traver on Tuesday.
Here's hoping the 'meeting with Christ' brings him a slice of luck at the Rio tournament and keeps him from any further injuries.
