Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah was left doing a double take when he met with two remarkably life-like waxworks of himself at Madame Tussauds.

The 31-year-old athlete unveiled not one, but two waxwork figures of himself at Madame Tussauds earlier this week, each wearing a different running outfit.

Of the two models, one is dressed in the tracksuit Farah wore before the start of the London Marathon, which turned out to be a not-so-memorable debut for him, earlier in the week.

Farah, the World and Olympic 5,000 and 10,000 metres champion, toiled on his highly-anticipated marathon debut. The Briton trailed in eighth, finishing almost four minutes behind World record holder and winner Wilson Kipsang.

The other model is wearing the Team GB vest and shorts Farah stripped down to during the event.

Despite the disappointing debut in London, Farah vowed not to abandon his marathon ambitions.

"I will be back. 100 percent. I'm not going to finish on a down. I wanted to give it a try," he said of his decision to take on the greatest marathon line-up ever assembled.

"London, this is my city. This is where I grew up, so it would have been wrong for me to do any other marathon.

"It was a great experience to race in London. For me I learned a lot... I know what marathons are about now. I'll come back stronger."
