Photos: Dazzling venues of the London Games

The Olympic Stadium, in the Olympic Park, is designed to be the centrepiece of the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics.

It will be the venue of the athletic events as well as the Olympic Games' opening and closing ceremonies.

A general view of the Velodrome

The Velodrome is one of the most sustainable and iconic venues of the London 2012 Games.

The London Velopark is a cycling centre in Leyton in east London.

The London Aquatics Centre is an indoor facility with two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool in the Olympic Park.

It will be one of the main venues of the Games and the 2012 Summer Paralympics. The centre will be used for swimming, diving and synchronised swimming.
